Level Design

Level Design on paper then on the Unreal Engine 5 engine for the last part of the game.

My missions:

  • Follow the architectural direction imposed by the other Levels Designers

  • Correctly balance traps and puzzles according to the player's level at the end of the game

  • Collaborate with other Levels Designers to create common traps and puzzles.

  • Create interesting puzzles requiring the use of several mechanics.

Blueprint programming

Programming of pressure plates, all their variants and Checks Points. Optimization for integration by Game Designers.

My missions :

  • Program pressure plates to activate a mechanism by the player, the horse, or both.

  • Program pressure plates meeting certain conditions allowing activation of a mechanism

  • Program Check Points to unload and reload the necessary levels, using Level Streaming.

  • Optimize blueprints to make it easier for Game Designers to integrate pressure plates and Check Points without having to modify the code.

Concept and Documentation

Organization of project monitoring.

My missions :

  • Design the pillars and rules of the game with other Game Designers

  • Create and track documentation allowing Game Artists and Game Progs to update the progress of their work

  • Adapt the game according to the problems encountered during production.

Crypt Enigma

Crypt Enigma is an adventure, puzzle and combat game. The player, accompanied by his horse, finds himself stuck in an ancient Egyptian temple. He will have to, with the help of his faithful companion and his grappling hook, do everything possible to get out.
